"Best-Product" - Guarantee

AKO guarantees that products carrying the “Best Product” Guarantee deliver market-leading performance in operation and the absolute best value for money.

If you have purchased a comparable pinch valve with a similar material specification, nominal size, and comparable acquisition cost (either cheaper or up to 10% above the purchase price of the AKO pinch valve) that performs better than the AKO pinch valve in the same installation position, we will refund the full purchase price upon return of the AKO pinch valve.

• With AKO, you can be confident that you are purchasing the pinch valve that offers the best performance and value for money on the market.
• You can be confident that you will not find a comparable pinch valve that performs better under the same operating conditions for a lower price.

The “Best Product” Guarantee is valid for a period of 36 months from the purchase (invoice date) of the valve from AKO Armaturen.

The 36-month period begins on the invoice date.

• The AKO pinch valve must have been purchased directly from AKO, and this must be verifiable with a clear AKO invoice number.
• The pinch valve in question must be marked with the “Best Product” Guarantee logo on the official order confirmation from AKO Armaturen.
• For the comparable pinch valve, a digital invoice showing the purchase cost and clearly identifying the manufacturer is required. The invoice for the comparable pinch valve must be within the guarantee period.
• The test with the comparable pinch valve must be completed during the guarantee period.
• To verify identical usage, we need a brief description of your application in a few sentences and 2 images each of the comparable pinch valve and the AKO pinch valve installed in the system, taken from different angles.
• To enable us to compare performance, please provide detailed information on the service life of both pinch valves.
• Compliance with the 36-month period from the invoice date is required.
• Only one pinch valve per application can be claimed under the “Best Product” Guarantee.

Please send an email to ako@pinch-valve.com with the subject line '"Best Product” Guarantee, order number: XXXXX’. Please include in the email the description of your application and images of both the comparison pinch valve and the AKO pinch valve. Please attach a digital invoice to the email, clearly showing the purchase cost and the manufacturer of the comparable pinch valve. Once your claim has been validated, you will be instructed on where to send the defective pinch valve and which documents to include. 

Once your claim has been validated successfully and we have received the AKO pinch valve, it will take a maximum of 5 working days.

No, you do not need to specifically register your AKO pinch valve.

No, the “Best Product” Guarantee applies only to AKO products marked with the “Best Product Guarantee” icon in AKO documents.

• Damaged pinch valves resulting from misuse are not covered by the “Best Product” Guarantee.
  The instructions and warnings in the operating manual, datasheet, and on valve labels must be followed.
• Under the “Best Product” Guarantee, only the cost of the pinch valve itself is reimbursed.
  Shipping costs, as well as costs arising from system modifications or production downtime, are not covered.
• Return shipping costs are not covered.
  The customer must arrange and pay for the return shipment.
