Manual and control Pinch Valves - RV Series

The manual or control pinch valves of the RV series are available in the nominal diameters of DN25 to DN500. 

They are designed with a flange connection complying with DIN EN 1092 PN10 or PN16 as standard, or ISO 25 or ISO 40. On request, the manual and control pinch valves of the RV series can be made with a flange connection complying with ANSI B 16.5- 150lbs, if required.

Structure of RV series:

The structure of the RV series manual or control pinch valves encompasses the sleeve - the essential part of every pinch valve - and a body. The pinch valve sleeve can optionally be connected directly to the closing mechanism with so-called opening tabs and therefore forceably opened. Depending on the application, opening tabs may not be necessary, if adequate operating or media pressure is available to additionally push open the sleeve, as soon as the pinch valve is opened by the mechanism.

Only the sleeve is in the product flow (contact with the operating medium) of the RV series manual and control pinch valve.

A selection of 10 different elastomer grades for the sleeve (natural rubber, EPDM, EPDM food quality, nitrile, nitrile food quality, butyl, neoprene, Hypalon, viton and silicone), ensures that the RV series manual or control pinch valves have a very wide and practically unrestricted field of application.

Pinch Valve actuators:

Manual handwheel, double-acting pneumatic cylinder, single-acting, spring return pneumatic cylinder, single-acting pneumatic spring in the pneumatic cylinder, hydraulic cylinder, electrical actuator.

Body materials of manual and control Pinch Valve RV series:

These can be supplied in grey cast iron, steel, welded steel or welded stainless steel depending on the model, nominal diameter and level of pressure involved.
