AKO Armaturen celebrates its 25th company anniversary
The manufacturer of air operated and mechanical Pinch Valves AKO Armaturen & Separations GmbH, based in Trebur (close to Frankfurt Main), celebrates its decadel birthday.
2009 is a characteristical year for the German company AKO with a subsidiary in France and a branch in England – the Pinch Valve specialised company looks back on a 25 years of successful history. The company AKO Armaturen & Vertriebs-Gesellschaft mbH was founded in autumn 1984 by Antoine Kopp. The development and sales of Pinch Valves began as early as 1985.
The company AKO Armaturen & Separations GmbH specialises in Pinch Valves but also sells knife gate valves, pumps, screen cylinders and special butterfly valves. In 1994 on October 4th AKO achieved today’s company name: AKO Armaturen & Separations GmbH.
AKO is now working together with 22 national representatives with various companies from the widest variety of sectors all around the world. AKO’s customers come from industrial sectors such as chemicals, foodstuffs, paper, power plant and recycling technology, waste water treatment and in particular in the minerals handling, cement, sand and silo engineering sectors.
Today AKO is the European market leader for air operaed Pinch Valves.
AKO's product range is versatile - Mechanical and air operated Pinch Valves are specially designed for isolating and regulating abrasive, fibrous and corrosive media to flat knife gate valves available in different diameters, high performance butterfly valves right up to special designed screen cylinders (filter drums).
